Well, here in Reggio it's a dreary sunday. Snow on the ground, and rainy... pretty much the definition of dreary, I'd say. Anyway, looking back through my 2011 images, I noticed several I'd shot while riding around in the car, shooting when the moment seemed right or when I saw a scene that pleased me.
It's funny how when you see something often it becomes normal, but when you stop and think for a bit about it, you can see things that you may have glanced over without even thinking about it. One of the negative aspects of growing up in a beautiful area, full of trees and lakes and nature, is that we become accustomed to all this beauty and don't even notice it... Instead I'd like to take this opportunity to salute the Adirondacks as a beautiful area!
