A New-ish Workflow

So what's the biggest problem when you love photography but don't have a lot of time? The fact that you don't have a lot of time.  THIS is the key issue in the last few weeks (and one of the reasons that photographers charge such high prices for their work: it costs a lot to live nowadays and to make images that stick really is a full time job!)

Anyway, while I like the VSCO effects that are available for Aperture, Photoshop, and  Lightroom... I can't help but feeling that there's always something missing - a bit of contrast, or some coloring here or there...

Anyway, today I walked around the city, finally.  It's something I've been meaning to do for a bit and today was actually sunny as well, so I had that motivation.  Included are some of the images I got, B&W's all treated with the amazing NIK software, and color images are all (strangely enough) actually VSCO preset B&W's, then transferred into color.  It's a weird process but it seems to work.

Thanks in advance to any and all viewers.
